Cycle in Style 2019

Our 2019 ride is now organised. We'll be leaving from the Vintage Tea Rooms around 11.00am, do arrive beforehand to have a drink and chat.
The route will be fairly short, out to Tapton Lock and back through town to return to finish at Vintage.
We welcome all riders whether stylish or not! However should you have a 'classic' bike and feel like dressing stylishly we do like that!

2019 Ride

The 2019 ride will be on Saturday 28th September. We're sorting out the route and cafes for start and finish but as usual they will be in or around the town centre.

Start time will be 10.30ish after a drink and chat. Probably about 5 miles at the usual social pace. We love seeing classic bikes and stylish riders but welcome anyone joining us!

Cycle in Style May 2018

27 riders took part in the first of two planned rides for 2018. We started at the Vintage Tea Rooms on Beetwell St and rode to the Riverside Garden Centre. After refreshments our group then rode along the new Peak Resort bridleway.

Cycle in Style 12th May 2018

We will start at the Vintage Tea Rooms and then cycle past the railway station and along the Stonegravels Way to Whittington Moor roundabout (mainly traffic free).

Using the cycle underpasses at Whittington Moor roundabout we will then cycle along the old Sheffield Road to the Riverside Garden Centre for refreshments.
We understand the new bridleway around Peak Resort can now be accessed from opposite the garden centre, so after refreshments there will be an opportunity to have a short trip on the bridleway.

Expecting to leave Vintage Tea Rooms at around 10.30am.
